{"id":31075,"date":"2021-12-17T16:49:03","date_gmt":"2021-12-17T15:49:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.itchy-feet.at\/neue-website-2025\/namibia-von-der-kolonialisierung-bis-zum-naturschutz\/"},"modified":"2025-02-03T15:49:55","modified_gmt":"2025-02-03T14:49:55","slug":"namibia-von-der-kolonialisierung-bis-zum-naturschutz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.itchy-feet.com\/de\/namibia-von-der-kolonialisierung-bis-zum-naturschutz\/","title":{"rendered":"Namibia, von der Kolonialisierung bis zum Naturschutz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bevor ich auf die Namibia-Tour 2021 eingehe, die von\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/special-adventure.de\">https:\/\/special-adventure.de<\/a> organisiert und durchgef\u00fchrt wurde, m\u00f6chte ich einige vorkoloniale Fakten, den gegenw\u00e4rtigen Zustand und einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die wirtschaftlichen Aussichten Namibias mitteilen. Namibia ist ein vielf\u00e4ltiges Land von J\u00e4gern und Sammlern, traditionellen Hirten, Handelsbauern, H\u00e4ndlern, Bergleuten und Fischern, die verschiedenen Sprach- und Kulturgruppen angeh\u00f6ren. Die wohl \u00e4ltesten Bewohner der Region sind die Buschleute oder San-Leute, wie die Felsmalereien und Gravuren an Orten im\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.andbeyond.com\/destinations\/africa\/namibia\/damaraland\/\">Damaraland <\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Twyfelfontein\">Twyfelfontein<\/a>\u00a0und\u00a0dem\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.info-namibia.com\/activities-and-places-of-interest\/damaraland\/brandberg\">Brandberg <\/a>zeigen.<\/p>\n<p>Heute leben sch\u00e4tzungsweise 30.000 Buschleute in Namibia, von denen nur wenige ihre historische und traditionelle Lebensweise fortsetzen. Die Buschleute teilten einige sprachliche Merkmale (wie die Klicks) mit den <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Damara-<\/span> und Nama-V\u00f6lkern, die sich nach ihnen in der Gegend niederlie\u00dfen. Herero und <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Himba<\/span> sind die anderen unverwechselbaren Kulturen. Der Herero ist in lebendigen Kleidern im viktorianischen Stil zu sehen. Die halbnomadischen <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Himba<\/span> sind daf\u00fcr bekannt, sich mit Ocker, einer Mischung aus Butterfett und Ocker, zu bedecken, was ihrer Haut einen r\u00f6tlichen Farbton verleiht. Die <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Owambo<\/span> leben in und um die n\u00f6rdlichen Teile des Landes, und betreiben Landwirtschaft, und sie k\u00f6nnen in den seichten Gew\u00e4ssern fischen. <span class=\"hiddenSuggestion\">Die<\/span> <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Himba<\/span> sprechen <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Otjihimba<\/span>, einen Dialekt der Herero. Herero ist eine Bantusprache. Obwohl Englisch heute die Landessprache Namibias ist, spricht es fast kein <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Himba<\/span>, und in <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Omuhonga-Schulen<\/span> wird nur sehr wenig Englisch unterrichtet.<\/p>\n<p>Ich interessiere mich sehr f\u00fcr Geschichte und recherchierte daher auch gr\u00fcndlich \u00fcber Namibia. Es ist einmal mehr als besch\u00e4mend, wenn man \u00fcber den V\u00f6lkermord liest und sich der menschenverachtenden Taten bewusst wird. Hier ist ein kurzer, aber guter Artikel dazu.\u00a0<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><a sizes=\"(max-width: 854px) 100vw, 854px\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Die pr\u00e4koloniale Geschichte Namibias<\/strong> \u2013 Namibia hat im Laufe der Jahre mehrere unterschiedliche Phasen durchlaufen. Auf den ersten Blick ist die Geschichte Namibias relativ jung. Dies liegt jedoch teilweise daran, dass die vorkoloniale Geschichte nie niedergeschrieben wurde, aber viele arch\u00e4ologische Beweise zeigen, dass die Menschen Namibia vor mindestens 25.000 Jahren bewohnten. Namibia ist ein kleines Land mit etwa 2,5 Millionen Einwohnern und einer langen K\u00fcste am S\u00fcdatlantik, die an S\u00fcdafrika, Botswana, Sambia und Angola grenzt. Es ist das trockenste Land in Subsahara-Afrika und ist reich an Bodensch\u00e4tzen, darunter Diamanten und Uran. Politische Stabilit\u00e4t und solides Wirtschaftsmanagement haben dazu beigetragen, die Armutsbek\u00e4mpfung zu verankern und Namibia zu einem Land mit gehobenem mittleren Einkommen zu machen. Zu den Naturattraktionen z\u00e4hlen die Namib-W\u00fcste, die \u00e4lteste W\u00fcste der Welt; der <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Fish<\/span> <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">River<\/span> Canyon, der nach dem Grand Canyon der zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfte Canyon ist; die weltber\u00fchmten D\u00fcnen von <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Sossusvlei<\/span>; die <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Skelettk\u00fcste<\/span> mit ihren au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Landschaften; und <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Etosha<\/span> Nationalpark, eines der gr\u00f6\u00dften Wildreservate in Afrika. Gepaart mit seiner nat\u00fcrlichen Sch\u00f6nheit, machen Namibias gute Stra\u00dfeninfrastruktur, Trinkwasser und eine geringere Kriminalit\u00e4t als die meisten seiner Nachbarl\u00e4nder es zu einem idealen Reiseziel f\u00fcr Touristen. Nach Angaben des World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) trugen Reisen und Tourismus 2019 rund 14,7 % des BIP in Namibia und 15,4 % zur Gesamtbesch\u00e4ftigung bei.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Derzeit k\u00e4mpft die namibische Tourismusindustrie ums \u00dcberleben<\/strong>. Die Auswirkungen von COVID-19 haben den Sektor ausgeh\u00f6hlt und zu Massengesch\u00e4ftsschlie\u00dfungen, Entlassungen und nicht tragf\u00e4higen Schulden gef\u00fchrt. Experten sagen voraus, dass die Erholung der Tourismusbranche schmerzhaft und langsam sein wird, wobei das Besucher- und Umsatzniveau vor der COVID-19-Erkrankung bis 2024 wahrscheinlich nicht zur\u00fcckkehren wird. Die St\u00f6rung wird Namibias Tourismusbranche neu gestalten und neue Gesch\u00e4ftsm\u00f6glichkeiten schaffen. Nach einem durchschnittlichen j\u00e4hrlichen Wachstum von 4,4 % zwischen 1991 und 2015 geriet Namibias Wirtschaft 2016 in eine Rezession und hat seitdem M\u00fche, sich zu erholen. Namibia ist haupts\u00e4chlich von Investitionen in die Mineralgewinnung und Staatsausgaben abh\u00e4ngig. Es litt unter fallenden Rohstoffpreisen, schwachem Wachstum bei wichtigen Handelspartnern (Angola, S\u00fcdafrika) und einer straffen Finanzpolitik im Hinblick auf die Bem\u00fchungen der Regierung, die \u00f6ffentlichen Finanzen wieder ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Umwelt und Klimawandel in Namibia<\/strong> \u2013 Namibia wird als eines der L\u00e4nder eingestuft, die weltweit am anf\u00e4lligsten f\u00fcr Klimawandel und Naturgefahren sind (<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">UNU-EHS<\/span>, 2016). Das Land erleidet erhebliche landwirtschaftliche Produktionsverluste, von denen mehr als 70 % der Bev\u00f6lkerung zum \u00dcberleben direkt von der Ern\u00e4hrungssicherheit abh\u00e4ngen (NSA, 2012). Die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels und der Naturgefahren stellen eine ernsthafte Bedrohung f\u00fcr die Lebensgrundlage von Gemeinschaften und die sozio\u00f6konomische Entwicklung insgesamt dar. Namibias W\u00fcsten wurden von <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Khosian-Buschm\u00e4nnern<\/span> \u201eThe Land <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">God<\/span> Made in Anger\u201c genannt. Aber die <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Skelettk\u00fcste<\/span> hat einen ganz eigenen ber\u00fcchtigten Ruf.<\/p>\n<p>Heutzutage wagen sich Touristen an die <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Skelettk\u00fcste<\/span>, um diese verrosteten Wracks aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und die hoch aufragenden Walknochen mit eigenen Augen zu sehen. Der Skeleton <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Coast<\/span> National Park wurde 1971 gegr\u00fcndet. Er erstreckt sich \u00fcber 1,6 Millionen Hektar entlang der K\u00fcste der <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Kunene-Region<\/span> und ist nach wie vor eine Wildnis von unber\u00fchrter, beeindruckender Sch\u00f6nheit, mit einer vielf\u00e4ltigen Tierwelt. Eine Reise durch den Nationalpark wird Ihnen jedoch mehr als eine seltene, fesselnde Landschaft am Ende der Erde bieten. Es ist auch die Heimat einer bl\u00fchenden Robbenkolonie am Cape <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Cross<\/span> und liegt direkt vor der Haust\u00fcr der <span Anbei meine Gedanken dar\u00fcber, welche Wildtiere ihr im Skeleton <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Coast<\/span> <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Wildlife<\/span> Park (m\u00f6glicherweise) antreffen k\u00f6nnt. Es ist eine beeindruckende Safari, dennoch sind diese Tiere oft seltene Anblicke, insbesondere die Elefanten und Nash\u00f6rner. Das gesamte Sortiment umfasst W\u00fcsten bewohnende Elefanten und L\u00f6wen, Spitzmaulnash\u00f6rner, Geparden, Krokodile und Zebras. Weitaus h\u00e4ufiger sieht man Springb\u00f6cke und <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Gemsb\u00f6cke<\/span>, Antilopen, die im s\u00fcdlichen Afrika beheimatet sind.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-5' Dieser Inselberg \u00fcberragt seine Umgebung um 700 Meter, mit einer Gesamth\u00f6he von 1728 m \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel. Aufgrund ihrer markanten Form, die schon von weitem zu erkennen ist, wird die <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Spitzkoppe<\/span> oft als das <span class=\"hiddenGrammarError\">&#8222;<\/span>Matterhorn<span class=\"hiddenGrammarError\">&#8222;<\/span> Namibias bezeichnet. Die <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Spitzkoppe<\/span> liegt ca. 120 km nord\u00f6stlich von Swakopmund und ist 30 km von der viel befahrenen Route zwischen <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Usakos<\/span> und Swakopmund entfernt. Das Massiv besteht aus zwei getrennten Bergen: der gro\u00dfen <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Spitzkoppe<\/span> mit 1728 m H\u00f6he und der kleinen <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Spitzkoppe<\/span> mit 1584 m H\u00f6he. Weiter westlich finden Sie das sogenannte <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Pontok-Gebirge<\/span>. Vergesst nicht, gen\u00fcgend Wasser und Brennholz mitzunehmen, und das Campen auf der <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Spitzkoppe<\/span> ist ziemlich atemberaubend, besonders wenn ihr zum In der Nama-Sprache bedeutet <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Sossus<\/span> so viel wie \u201eblinder Fluss\u201c und bezeichnet den <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Tsauchab-Fluss<\/span>, der bei Hochwasser in der W\u00fcste versickert, ohne den nur 50 km oberirdischen Atlantik zu erreichen. Vor 60.000 Jahren m\u00fcndete vermutlich der <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Tsauchab<\/span> <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">River<\/span> in den Atlantischen Ozean. Die ganzen 50 km bis zum Atlantik bestehen aus\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Aufsandungen<\/span> und Absperrung des Flusses aus verschiedenen <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Vleis<\/span>, von denen das <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Sossusvlei<\/span> das bekannteste ist.
